The Goat Approves. More comedy less seriousness if you ever expand or redo this book.

Buy this book! The Lepix are seriously badass, and it's not just because of the badass art...Hell, buy everything Savage Age! The contribution they're making to the WoD is just incredible.

As a joke book, I think Mr. Rose did an excellent job. Especially for what started as a joke idea! This book can certainly expand your campaign and would be a great fit into, not only a modern werewolf campaign, but definitely a Savage Age campaign!

I totally loved this book and actually used it as an inspiriation for my werewolf campaign. For a "joke book", it was great value for money.

This book is fantastic! Such a fun read. Its entertaining, interesting, funny and a quick read. And, for an April Fools joke, it is real info that you can use to expand your personal world/chronicle. I highly recommend it.

One of the fun April Fool's Day Products that came out this year, but genuinely can be used in the World of Darkness Universe if you play it straight.

The basic sales pitch of this book is it's written for the in universe White Wolf Stand in (Black Dog) for their Werewolf the Apocalypse (Lycanthrope The Rapture), both made by Pentex. This in and of itself is pretty great in our opinion as it shows the ST how to describe Delerium of mortals forgetting things via discounting it as just their mind playing tricks or a dream on some tabletop rpg game.

Clocking in at 13 pages in total we get a couple stories to help articulate the tone of this Fera. They come with the usual 5 forms Homid ; Auribus (Near Man) ; Leporine (War-Form) ; Nuralagus Rex (Great Beast) ; Lepus (Animal). There is made mention of what happens if you try to make Abominations out of them (you can't thanks to Helios) and an indication their blood is akin to drinking pure sunshine (no rules text on this sadly), but for Changeling fans they are a source of glamour if eaten (Yay Redcaps!)

We get a couple gifts for ranks 1-6, which is nice. A couple are reprints or "as the X gift", thus assuming you have access to the core rulebook for Werewolf The Apocalypse 20th, but there are a couple of brand new ones in here too that are absolutely great. The Rank 5 and 6 gifts are truly inspired and can be the scope of entire chronicles.

While the premise of the Were-Rabbit is a little silly to me, existing to be eaten, I personally will be using this book actually to help flesh out the ritualistic hunting of spirits and some of the rewards you can get for capturing a spirit that is part of Garou and Fera Culture.

While a joke book, Tribebook Lepix is extremely well written and frankly a hoot!

Tribebook Lepix is better than it has any right to be.

The idea of a joke book, even of were rabbits in Werewolf if pretty absurd. This book toes the line between farce and useful and interesting take on this fake breed. As for the content itself, The Art is pretty great and the writing hits that sweet spot of letting us all in on the joke but treating it respectfully enough that you could actually make this work in a game. Another great point is the length, the book gets to the point and doesn't waste your time.

All in all this is a solid book and well worth the price asked.

Is a Joke, but if you want to, is not a joke.

One should not be smiling and laughting when reading World of Darkness stories and material. The goth horror should not be this funny.

But it is. And only Grant, the author, could have pulled this out.

What started as a joke became a source material that's is still funny, but that can't deny that deep layer of disturbing horror. The implications of this Were-Rabbits being food for the rest of the Fera, and that they not only relish in their mandate, but even empowered it, make us want to laught more to distract our mind from thinking too much of it.

And the best part is you can actually try to play a Lepix or use them in a chronicle. Here are all you need. So go for it, make your players decide what to do when that nice old man, that appeared when they were dying from hunger, change forms as a hulking Were-Rabbit, just to offering himself as food for them... if they can catch him.

Or run your version of the Turtle vs the Hare. Play the consecuences of that fateful race of an Ao and a Lepix.

Let them be myths, or realities, of your World of Darkness and decided if you want to laught with the Lepix... or eat them.

When you will Rage... of hunger?

(Still want them to be Time Mages... maybe next year?)
