Does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it well. Fifty interesting little items, with about two lines of description each. All have a physical description: some also say a little about their history that would not be obvious to a player encountering them without context, but will help the GM.
None are given any magical powers, though most could easily have some, nor do they seem to be the sort of thing to unbalance a story. They come from a wide geographical range: Sartar, Prax, Glamour, Shadow Plateau, and more.
Every single one of them makes me want to know more!
The illustrations on the cover, sadly, have nothing to do with the items listed, not that they really need pictures, since the descriptions are excellent.
Well worth the very trivial cost.
