Two pages of random trinkets/objects by D100 roll and described with one to three sentences. Fifty trinkets total.

Descriptions for the trinkets vary. After the physical description they may tell about the trinket's history, magical properties or place in the myths which seem to fit well in Glorantha. Useful for busy gamemaster who needs to come up with random objects fast. And why not, with some extra work many of these trinkets could spark gamemaster's imagination to come up with a story for a full lenght adventure. Something like this could be useful if its already in the core books.

Paying for this I would like to see a little more depth.

I definitely like the concept. The descriptions are intriguing. But most of the trinkets are described in the same way that the merchant at the beginning of Disney's animated Aladdin might describe them. Or maybe as displays in a two-bit wandering carny. See the bristles from the helm of a commander of the EWF! This cruddy old mask was once worn by a member of the fabled Puppeteer Troupe! Funnel cakes, only five clacks!

What might be really useful is not to have it in the format of a random table, but something like Plunder. Examples of ways the PCs might find these trinkets. What they'd have to roll to recognize them. Who could tell them more. Things they could be, rather than what they are. The obvious intent is to set up adventure seeds, rather than merely local color, but I don't think it does the job as well as it might, and I wish it did. This isn't a game aid so much as a workshop -- "What can you, the Game Master, do with this oddment?" -- and I think it needs a lot more meat.

Content is ok, but theres not much there for your dollar - 2 pages of random Stuff/trinklets, if the Trinklets had a bit more depth/detail/history/myth it would have been spot on, it feels like a missed oppurtunity. Is it still useful.... Yes, but is it really worth that dollar...there in lies the rub, and my answer is probably no.

It was a little disappointing a one page table with a little bit of description about each item, no specific history or stats

Does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it well. Fifty interesting little items, with about two lines of description each. All have a physical description: some also say a little about their history that would not be obvious to a player encountering them without context, but will help the GM. None are given any magical powers, though most could easily have some, nor do they seem to be the sort of thing to unbalance a story. They come from a wide geographical range: Sartar, Prax, Glamour, Shadow Plateau, and more. Every single one of them makes me want to know more! The illustrations on the cover, sadly, have nothing to do with the items listed, not that they really need pictures, since the descriptions are excellent.

Well worth the very trivial cost.
