"Is the Book of Lore good? Yes. Though the format at the end threw me a bit, it was an enjoyably creepy version of the story that, at the same time, helped me better understand how a game of Bluebeard’s Bride might look. Even if someone wasn’t interested in playing Bluebeard’s Bride, if they’re a fan of the Grimm-er variety of folktale the Book of Lore would be worth checking out, and like I’ve said before that’s exactly what this kind if supplement wants to be." "While it’s not a universally applicable supplement, the Book of Mirrors remains a strong one. In a genre that’s already difficult for tabletop roleplaying games to parse, the Book of Mirrors takes the unique approach of Bluebeard’s Bride and manages to spin it six more unique and fascinatingly horrible ways. For a game like BB that is very focused, a supplement like the Book of Mirrors can only broaden its audience." "Well, hello there! Welcome to the Flying Stag, our hearth and home among the treetops. My name is Wulflen Skyway, I'm the proprietor of this fine establishment. Now, the dancing doesn't start until twilight, and you don't look like you have an undead problem, so what shall it be? We have a moongoat shawarma that's proven very popular, and craftsmanship demands I recommend the Frozen Drupelet, our raspberry spiced ice wine made right-
Ah, touring around looking for stories, are you? Well, I was a bard back in the day, before some... stuff happened, so I could spin you a few yarns. No, no, the scale armor is just an affectation, nothing to worry yourself about. No, I'm not going to "dish" about my past, thank you. The Flying Stag, though, well, it may not be as well known as The Broken Cask - yet - but it has its stories to tell."

"This is one of those books that is exactly what it says on the tin, but it could have been a dud if the NPCs within its pages weren’t interesting. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Writer Jeff Ashworth has crafted a veritable horde of characters, and while some may be more detailed than others, none of them are boring. My only problem is how long it would take to get all of them into play." - Seamus Conneely

"Thirsty Sword Lesbians is far from just a name. It’s a game that explores queer feelings and identity extensively, in all their beauty. Even when that exploration may get rough, the game has done all it can to ensure that you are safe in this journey. It may take inspiration from other systems, but what it does with that inspiration is completely original." - Maria Fanning

"Offering a ton of options along with additional rules from mecha minions to new pilot and crew incidentals/maneuvers/actions to a mecha critical hit table, all of which nevertheless plug easily into the existing structure of Genesys, Mechasys offers not just a detailed effort to bring mecha adventures to the table, but an accessible one." - Seamus Conneely

"Band of Blades is a book that will offer a unique campaign experience where no character is safe, where both the losses and the risks matter. The players have a larger degree of control over the story by playing the leaders of the Legion, while also getting to potentially explore many different characters, playstyles, and relationships via the troupe play with the rank-and-file legionnaires. And whether the Legion dies on the roads of Aldermark or stands victorious on the walls of Skydagger Keep, you’re going to know you took on a challenge worth facing." - Seamus Conneely

"Star Trek Adventures, like Star Trek at large, certainly could manage a blockbuster event, or a Dominion or Burn-style long arc, but it sings as an episodic game, and I think that’s because the game trusts its players to bring what they know and love of Trek to the table and fly “second star to the right — and straight on ’til morning.”" - Seamus Conneely

"Facing the Titan has learned a lot of lessons from the GM-less narrative games like Fiasco, but still goes more for the empty canvas that makes a lot of narrative games so intimidating. With the solidity of the procedures in the game, though, you have something you can hang a story off of." - Aaron Marks

"Space Knights packs a lot into its ten pages, from interesting mechanics to idea fodder, covering everything you'll need to play a one-shot or campaign from the set-up all the way to the epilogue. With interesting tweaks to the mechanics and a low bar for entry (there are even three example Orders and a quartet of missions if you want to jump right into things), even if you're not a 40k fan there's a lot of fun to be had here." - Seamus Conneely

"The mechanics are simple and straightforward, and really do link up very well with different dice systems. Orcery is fantastically creative and a really cool new thing for players to fiddle around with. The various tables, from Atmospheres to Situations to Lands to Folk, provide a ton of variety that you're going to have to work pretty hard to exhaust. The overview at the start of the book says that the Azure Etern should be vast, wild, whimsical, and fun, and if you think of them as goals I absolutely think Skycrawl has managed to attain them." - Seamus Conneely
