Great system for solo play and Co -op. Create your on worlds and settings using the guided system and play it out.
I really like the PBTA system with moves and having assets rather than needing that special skill to do X.
Also great resources to expand the gamesystem at Tomkin press - for example how to play a Witcher in Iron Sworn or The role of your ship in Starforged.

Most fun I’ve had with an RPG in a long time. Zero prep co-op play is so good.

Such a mind-blowing game system. It has all the best parts of a journaling game and an RPG, with perfect solo functionality at the same time. For me, it also acts as an anxiety-reducer for some reason, and when I get the chance to play before work, I see a marked reduction of my stress levels. I can't say enough positive things about it.
If you're the type who like RPGs because you want to feel super powered and deal two handfulls of dice worth of damage to your monstrous opponents, this game wouldn't be for you. But if you're into Sci-fi and love the unfolding story of a narrative game, give it a try!
It's so good!

Starforged is a fantastic continuation of the Ironsworn line, can't go wrong for a great sci-fi solo or coop rpg experience!

Ironsworn was a game I read in one sitting, so I knew that Starforged would not disappoint. It made an already excellent game better. It is an easy to use rules set, that is easily adapted to your needs. It gives you just enough of everything you need to play.
Shawn's products are on my auto-buy list.

An excellent sci-fi game. It's got a good narrative focus while providing customization options for players. There are some small changes from the original Ironsworn, which help decrease the lethality and increase the rewards of long-term play. Starforged excels as solo, duet, and small group play as well.

The only sci-fi game I need! Exciting and cinematic in the best way.
Star Wars? Makes Laser Guns and Force-like magic fun.
Star Trek? Wonderful tools and mechanics for exploration and discovery.
Firefly? Andor? Mandalorian? Use your wits and underworld connections to survive in a gritty universe.
Alien? Terrible things lurk in those derelict ships.
The system is quick and simple to learn, but deep enough to keep things mechanically interesting. Character creation takes just a few minutes, while providing meaningful choices that allow you to craft your character as you imagine them.

The best solo game on the market! Ironsworn: Starforged offers an easy, intuitive ruleset and an expansive array of oracle tables that help create a wonderful solo experience. The tables alone make this worth the buy, giving you resources to generate planets, starships, characters, and alien creatures.

Makes so many changes to Ironsworn to make it truely spectacular! Playing though a 5 player co-op at the moment and we are loving it!

Another absolute banger of a game by Shawn Tomkin. Most games I will wait and see reviews or watch an actual play, but at this point I'll but anything he writes at the first opportunity. This game takes the framework from the already incredible Ironsworn and refines it and adds to it beautifully. It's really fun and satisfying to play solo and I'm looking forward to playing it co-op with my wife when we get a chance.

I think this is an excellent evolution after Ironsworn. The -sworn games are the perfect introduction to solo roleplaying, and honestly the only systems you need for fantasy or sci-fi. I find myself trying new systems, or trying to make my own, only to go back to vanilla Ironsworn/Starforged as I think it is as close to a perfect system as you can get!

Ironsworn was an amazing product already but Starforged somehow manages to be even better. The exploration moves are just amazing and the setting is beautiful and evocative.
Even if you just want to use the tables and oracles in this book as inspiration to run other systems it is well worth the 20 bucks, you won't be disappointed

Brilliant! Shawn Tomkins done it again! A stellar upgrade the Ironsworn that manages to improve on something I already thought was perfect.

This may be my favourite TTRPG of all time. The mechanics are smooth and challenging while not sacrificing flexibility. The setting is evocative and imaginative with plenty of scope for customisation. My family have spent hours in this world already, and I see no reason why we won't be here for a while yet;
