It delivers exactly what it says on the label: rules light, fun sci-fi adventure with tropes we all know and love. I am also a HUGE fan of the design of the book and how the character sheets mimic the back of a certain brand of action figure pacakging. Good good stuff. And it'll tide you over 'til Season 3 comes out.

I collect superhero games, fully knowing I'm never going to play most of them. This one, on the other hand? Pretty sure it's going to be my go-to going forward! Easy to learn, easy to teach, super quick chargen. What's not to like?!

I fell for "Shadow of The Demon Lord" hard and fast. My friends quickly picked up all of the Sourcebooks, Poison Pages, etc. without bating and eyelash, and while I'm sad to know there isn't a ton more content coming out for SoTDL, I am SUPER glad that "Godless" was one of the last in the line.

Evoking all your fave post-apoc games, "Godless" easily gives it that Robert Schwalb spin and makes it grim and gritty and funny and sad and altogether wonderful. Do you NEED this for your fantasy campaign? That's between you and your higher power (JUST KIDDING! They're all the dark lord Diabolus!). But it is a perfect addition to the line, the new rules, gear, charachters and magic schools all fit really well, and it is in my opinion money well spent.

Also? I love that among the "Interesting Objects" you can find are: a bag of polyhedral dice, a Slayer tape, and a George Foreman grill. Oh, and of course a copy of "Shadow of The Demon Lord."
