TCFBTS! is what would happen if Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchet was asked to rewrite the RPG adaptation of Roger Corman's Jaws (After Spielberg was eaten by the mechanical Bruce). It's got a lot of love and affection for the genre, but isn't afraid to recognise the occasional absurdities, or to play up the tropes we've all come to know. As a big fan of the horror/comedy/b-movie genres, i've enjoyed the balance it allows you to take in the game, and you can vere wildly from one tone to another without it breaking your immersion - in fact, it just enhances it.

A fun addition to the TCFBTS! range, that really gets you and your players in amongst the action! With boats, sea battles, and more moistened beasties, you've got a bunch of new toys to play with. What i liked about it was how most of the key elements had story hooks built in, so it wasn't just a fun description and a stat block, it was the start of a story. The book also contains some story ideas, with descriptions of the acts, what can happen, and how you might play them. So, someone looking to get into the game has got a bunch of ideas to get them started befoer they see where the depths take them!

The Haunting of Abbeyham Priory! is first and foremost a really fun read, and even with little experience of the system, you really get a sense of the tone they're aiming at - you've little doubt at whats being skewered! As a jumpstart, this gives you plenty to get you started, and hints at the larger world the line covers - I'm certainly keen to get the full book when it releases!

Another top book coming off Cults of the Blood Gods, with a variety of different stories covering how the cults and Hecata can fit it.

Children of the Blood is a great resource, and exactly the sort of content that I enjoy. The range of characters on offer can be easily dropped into any story, and they're loaded with hooks, and plot elements that you can draw on and bounce off your players. It not only advances the setting and adds in great hints at what else lurks out there, but importanly shows how religion, faith and the cult structure works in universe. Not every adherent is fully dedicated, and each of them come at it from thier own angles - everyone has their own questions to answer and reason to do it. Overall, i love this book, and it works very well for me. On top of the top quality writing, the book looks amazing as well, and the art style is really evocative of the setup. Whether your an ST that wants to have some pre made story hooks, a player that wants to see some great examples of how cultists can be displayed, or just a person who loves the lore of VtM, this book is well worth picking up.

I've been using Chicago on and off for a setting since the 2nd edition, and have loved it's rich characters and subplots. The 5th edition version continues this and adds some great layers to an already amazing bit of history. The details about the Lasombra defecton are great, as is the pre made story 'The Sacrifice'. The best thing about this book is that it has masses of great content, even if you have no intention of running a chronicle in Chicago. highly, highly recomended!

This book has more story hooks that you could ever hope to use if you played for decades. While it is set in and around Chicago, nothing stops these ideas being transposed and used wherever your chronicle is set, so it's a gret resource for storytellers who want to up thier game!

What a great set of stories and ideas - this really expands on what the game can be and how things might fit together. Importantly these stories can be moved around and held anywhere and work for beginners and experienced coteries alike - a great purchase for anyone looking to run some premade jump stories, or see how the WoD can be approached slightly differently.

It's debatable as to whether this is my favourite book from the V5 range, as it shares the top spot with Chicago by Night. In my mind an essential purchase for the gameline, and the introduction and detailing of the various kindred religions expands upon an area that was largley ignored in previous editions. I cannot recomend this product enough and look forward to seeing more content of this quality!
