Part 2 of the Dreamers. Your party heads underground trying to solve the mystery. The first part is full of die rolls, and DM role play. Stretch your role play boundaries! Then the combats begin. And continue. And continue. This module ran long for me. I actually cut out 2 combat encounters to keep the game on track. For the second half of the encounter, the party can choose role play or combat. I had hopes the party would RP, but they went murder hobo. The combats went well. Lots of saving throws. It did okay as a standalone, but it does flow better as part of the whole trilogy. I did eliminate a character completely in the first encounter, so that was a bit of a bummer for him.

This module has some hilarious moments where roleplaying is a blast. My table reported that they truly in a mind trip as we progressed through the last parts of the module. The biggest issue we had was time. This is not a 4 hour module, it is more like 6. This module has the possibility of having more than five combats which slows the module down a lot, and most of the combats don't have ways of getting around them using the pilars of play. My DMs had to cut out half of the combats and tweak another one. Overall though, the players enjoyed what they were presented, we just had to modify things to fit in our 4 hour block of time.

This module is intersting, with a nice twist to it. The combats make sense and push the party pretty hard. I thought the writing was good and easy to follow. Quite a well paced Tier 3 adventure. The maps really are excelent as well. The series goes from no maps in the first module to two very nice ones in this adventure. I liked it so much that I converted the Fantasy Grounds and ran it for my two personal campaigns (not-AL). Both groups had a lot of fun with these.
