Demons are some of the most interesting antagonists to me in Exalted and Makarios has some interesting hooks. His lack of physical existance is particularly ripe for ideas and leans into the weirdness that I expect out of demons in Exalted.

Overall, I love this book and my only real complaint is that I wished there was more! It's definitely worth knowing that this is a setting book, and has very little new mechanical content. That said, the setting material is awesome and definitely opens up the Blessed Isle and satrapies of the Realm for interesting play opportunities.

We love the updated and expanded setting presented in second edition. The storypath rules are great, though can be a little challenging to interpret in places. We would have loved a character creation summary. To hear our complete thoughts, check out our overview/review episode: http://thestorytold.libsyn.com/episode-16-scion-2nd-edition-origin-overview

What Fire Has Wrought is my favorite execution of my favorite type of Exalted. The book covers more about the Dragon-Blooded across Creation than previous editions, updates the Great Houses to make them more iconic, super-charges Dragon-Blooded charms, and provides a set of new martial arts, sorcery, and artifacts for use in any Exalted game. My only complain would be the lack of a Stroyteller section. I rate this book 5/5 Dragons and highly recommend it for any Exalted fans.

I took a lot of inspiration from this book and I'm very excited about some of the things it hints at for the future of the C20 line. For the full review, see our review episode: http://thestorytold.libsyn.com/episode-9

Short version, I love this book and think it recaptures the glamour of Changeling the Dreaming. For the long version, check out our review episode: http://thestorytold.libsyn.com/episode-9

It's great to see more representation coming out in games these days.

To me, two of the city writeups were really cool, two were pretty good, and the last was OK. However, I want to focus on the snapshot of Prague, because it's a city were I've lived. The section does a good job of catching the feel of the city with a World of Darkness twist. Most of the names are spot-on (a few are more Russian than Czech) and some historical sites and events are specifically called out. However, I feel there were some missed opportunities with the city, specifically the Zizkov TV tower (which looks like an alien observation post looming over a historical district of the city and build over a cemetery) and Rudolf II (who historically surrounded himself with alchemists, astrologers, and artists.)
I hope Prague has another chance to appear in the World of Darkness in the future as there are far more to the city than what could be covered here.

This was a fun read. The art was beautiful and the story seemed like an interesting beginning. The biggest detriment is that it left me wanting more Exalted. I would definitely subscribe if this became an ongoing comic.

An interesting look at the world of Demon, but it benefits from having read the Demon core book. I really like the idea of pairing rules with stories. The stories were a mixed bag but none were particularly memorable.
