Demonslayer is a simple SOLO TTRPG game. Unlike many SOLO-RPGs which put a lot of emphasis on the Role Play to the point that they are essentially (if not litteraly) writing prompts, Demonslayer focuses on being a GAME. So much that it is practically a Board Game, with a Hex Map for the Board. But if you are looking for a game to introduce you to the concept of SOLO Gaming, Demonslayer is a well made and simple game that will do just that.
Obviously Demonslayer won't be for everyone. If you are looking for something with a lot of narrative and role playing, this is not it.
But if you want a Game where you travel around a Hex Map, getting into random encounters, and fighting monster, this game should scratch that itch.

Recently, while browsing Wargame Vault, I stumbled upon Ganesha Games’ new print’n’play solo game Demonslayer, of which I want to share my review.“Demonslayer is a retro-fueled, sword and sorcery hex-map game for a single player” had me intrigued. As a long-time fan of Andrea Sfiligoi’s games, this purchase was a no-brainer to me. I highly recommend you give Demonslayer by Ganesha Games a try. It’s a fun, easy, portable, and retro-feeling hex crawl solo game which you can quickly print at home. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

Demonslayer is a simple game. It uses a few d6 dice, a pre-made hex map with 101 different encounters for numbered locations as well as a 3d6 random encounter table. The core rules are only 2 pages so it's easy to get started. Object of the game is to find and defeat a demon lord. The combat reminds me of 4AD a little. You roll for your attack and your defend. Overall after loseing my first campaign going after the 4th demon lord by losing my might check on the Wizard duel which caused my death lol, I did have a fun time with it. I am looking forward to my next campaign. I also hope there is some expansions/supplements for it in the future.

Glad you had fun with it. Yes, we will publish more demonslayer adventures. I am playtesting the second one, Blood of the Blue Dragon, right now. |

I like Four Against Darkness and every supplement except the “White Label” games as they are to immature and full or sexual misogyny and demons.

The lack of an outline and hyperlinks in the PDFs makes them borderline unusable. Especially with the amount of content in these books.
