One of the best gaming experience I've ever had. Never thought an historical setting about rural life could be so enticing and dramatic. The autor has a good understanding of what makes PBTA cool and plays very well with the rules. One of the Top 3 PBTA I've ever played.

A really nice, light set of rules that walks the line between grim & perilous and picaresque. It has a good, brief discussion of the setting and just enough detail to fire up the imagination. I think that this is exactly the system for playing a classic empire-crawl style game.

Update: I ran Kidnap the Archpriest as a one-shot adventure at short notice using Kriegsmesser. The player characters were an unlikely bunch of rogues and the system provided plenty of fun roleplay moments and robust enough rules to cover most situations. I look forward to playing again soon!

Das Rollenspiel Sagas of the Icelanders versucht die Zeitepoche der isländischen Sagas an den Spieltisch zu bringen.

Das Rollenspiel basiert auf Powered by the Apocalypse und bietet wie üblich verschiedene Playbooks für die Charaktere. Eine Besonderheit besteht in den geschlechterspezifischen Playbooks.
