City of Eyes is a Ravenloft adventure in 13 parts, taking place in the thoroughly horrible city of Elysium, a ghastly urban sprawl where it never stops raining and streetlamps flicker in winding streets filled with secrets.

- This adventure is for characters of 15th-20th level, with challenges designed to torment and bedevil those who perhaps feel they have nothing left to fear.
- Collect peculiar keys, gather strange etchings, and solve the mystery of Elysium before the clock ticks down to midnight and the adventure ends.
- Face off against the Spider, a treacherous CR30 Darklord spinning webs in the shadows.
- Batle against Unspeakable Denizens, or don't. I'm not your boss. Do what you like.

- This adventure uses updated Stress and Fear rules from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, including an evolved mechanic for The Sight, through which characters willing to embrace their fears learn to see things that others cannot
- New Dark Gifts specific to the City of Eyes
- Twisted artefacts, peculiar magics and regrettable creatures suited to the dank sidestreets of Elysium

A. Yes

Q. I bought a previous version of this adventure, do I get this one for free?

A. I'll likely send a version of this to people who bought the last one, when I have time. However, I've rewritten it from the ground up, I paid for a bunch of art, and my time is real expensive. If you are impoverished and can't live without it, then if you can track me down on my increasingly insular social media then there's a good chance I'll throw you a copy out of a misguided sense of duty.

Q. There's stuff in this version that I don't like, or there's stuff missing from the previous versions.

A. I made some changes. I apologize for them now, but it's worth remembering that a good compromise makes no-one happy, and this adventure is an excellent compromise between my original vision and the years of experience I've gained since I first gave it a try.

I dont know why people say its missing content. I read through it 2 times now and havent seen any missing content. Everything is there. Every locations, tables, stat blocks, I mean everything is so detailed and well done. I dont know if its the fact that this is meant to be played as openly as possible with characters choosing where they wanna go, etc, that cobfuses people or its just that there is not maps like people want? I mean you can always make yours or use your imagination.

I'm restoring this to the guild because some very nice and polite people kept asking where they could find a version of it. Frankly I was going to take it to the grave with me rather than deal with this hellsite anew, but here we are. It's back, for now, unless I get annoyed again.

Originally I took it down because I didn't have the time or energy to deal with the extra requests people were making, and I am a tired, tired man. No, there are no additional or VTT maps attached, I will not be adding them, and there is unlikely to be an errata, I just don't have the time. If you hate it, fine. If you like it, I'm glad.

I spent money on this final version of the adventure because I loved making it, not because I anticipated it making that money back, so it remains here for as long as I feel it is appreciated. One day it will disappear again. Fair adventuring, comrades, and good luck. You'll need it.

I see that this hasnt been updated in some time and many of the reviews/comments mention missing content. Any chance of this ever being updated to include the missing content?

Just purchased it and I can't wait to go through it. I DM'd your 2nd edition and me and my players loved it. I can't wait to got through all of it. The artwork you made or had done looks wonderful and fits the mood of this adventure so well.

I purchased the product and I am about half way through reading the module in preparation to run it. But it appears that some of the battle maps are missing? The crooked house references areas like 3B but I couldn't locate any actual maps?

Also, a lot of the maps have large watermarks on them referencing Patreon, etc.

Are there player versions of these? Full respect for the author but I believe the adventure is going for immersive and creepy experience... A Patreon advertisement doesn't really mesh for me.

Is there a resource missing from the purchase product maybe?

The last thing was that there was mention of an old city map that was cut. It might be cool to have that as optional content.

I'd be happy to give a high review if at least there was a clean version of the battle maps.

hello, im very excited to run this adventure. when you say its levels 15-20, does that mean they start at level 15 and progress to 20, or is it for a group of adventurers already in that range? also, would you allow them to keep their magic items at the start, or is this adventure written in mind for a party with no magic items?

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S FINALLY HERE. I'm paying for it even though I have both previous versions because this is legitimately the best adventure available on DMs Guild and absolutely worth supporting. I have been waiting for years and am so excited right now. I'll be back to review it as soon as I've had the chance to check it out.

Absolutely thrilled about this product. This is the first I've heard of City of Eyes despite it seemingly having been around for some time. I was dubious about it being a high level adventure originally, but it seems to cleverly get around the problems of high level campaigns by offering disincentives for recovering resources and draining them from the players over time.

One question I do have, and though I've done some digging I can't quite find where I can procure the maps shown in the PDF. There is a patreon username available, but I can't seem to find the precise map names. It's possible it were included in older versions of the work, but if a list of the names of these maps, or a link were provided as to where one could purchase the maps specific to this adventure it would resolve the singular (and minor) hiccup I've encountered.
