The job was routine, the money fair. What is up with this not coming with the Middle Heavens map that the hard copy comes with. That map is more detailed than the maps in the hardcover books and I want a digital copy.

Can this be adapted to a different ttrpg like Mothership or Scum & Villainy?
I've been looking for modules to run with Scum & Villainy and can't find them anywhere.

How are the maps handled? I'm playing this with a group of friends on-line. Is there a way to share the maps with them? Maybe Snipping the PDF into smaller chunks?

I don't have this product, but with some others, I've taken screenshots of the portion of the pdf I wanted, and used those.
Doesn't grab text as text but just as part of the picture, but it's better than nothing.

This is not actually a QuickStart. It just contains the adventure with no rules except for a new creature that’s not in the Core Book.

Pages 30-37 should contain rules for dice rolling, panic, combat etc. (Just before the list of Skills). My copy does but I did get it from the preorder.

Nope, all rules references go the main book. Pages 30-37 are the event descriptions for the scenario.

Whatever the pre-order ppl got, this isn't it.

I can also confirm that there are no rules in this book. There is no quickstart section and this scenario not playable without the core rulebook.

This says it is “designed to introduce you to the game”. Does that mean it’s a quickstart?

It's a stripped down version of the rules with pregenerated characters. The basic mechanics are pretty much all there though - they just get expanded upon in the main rulebook.
So it is essentially a quickstart but because the system is a pretty simple one (very similar to Tales from the Loop) it doesn't seem as stripped down as many other quickstarts.
I've had Chariot of the Gods for quite a few months now as part of the initial preorder and its a pretty good introductory scenario. Very atmospheric and felt like it fit into the Alien universe. It does a great job of incorporating the 'Cinematic' play style.

This product isn't what the preorder ppl received, apparently, because this is not quickstart rules. If you don't have the main book, you won't be able to use this.

All rules references point to the book. The NPCs are stat'd up, and the Abomination creature, but everything else requires you to use the core rulebook.
